Today is a ' World Turtle Day!'🥰🐢
The day was created as a yearly observance to help people protect turtles and tortoises and their disappearing habitats around the world as well as to encourage human action to help them survive and thrive🫶🏻.
Almost 10 thousand turtles are estimated to die every year as a result of the activity pollution.
Why we have to protect our turtles?🤔
These creatures play an important role in their respective ecosystems.They maintain an ecological balance and, therefore, it’s important to conserve these gentle animals🤗.
